beauty newbies: london edition

so last night the lovely Sophie from candycaneheart and i went on a much needed shopping adventure to Westfields! i was pretty excited since i'd never been before and the thought of going to a mall in london just fascinated me (silly, i know). i tried not to go too crazy since i still have about 2 weeks left in london and need to make what money i have left last until then, but as you can see i did indulge a tad :) here's a list of the newbies: 

- Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask 

- Origins Clear Improvement charcoal mask 

- Topshop nail polish in Tidal, Milk Shake and Blitz 

ever since i started using my Origins Checks and Balances face wash (post on it below), i have been craving to try some other products from them since I was so impressed with my face wash! i have read countless positive reviews on the Clear Improvement mask so automatically knew i had to pick it up. Sophie kindly convinced me to get the Drink Up Intensive mask as it's an overnight moisturizing mask which doesn't require you to wash off in the morning. needless to say i am quite anxious to try these babies out! 

i was dragged into Topshop against my will by Sophie since I knew I would want to spend a ridiculous   amount of money on clothes which my bank balance certainly wouldn't allow! but i simply could not resist taking a peek at their nail polishes since so many of you girls have them and the colors just look amazing! i settled on only three: Tidal, Milk Shake, and Blitz which as you can see give me quite a nice range of color. 

here's a picture of Blitz. the lighting in my hotel room isn't that great as it looks more pink but in reality it's more of a 'red wine' sort of color which i love!
