hello girlssss here is part two of my 'favorite brushes of 2012' series which is all about the eyes. now as with my face brush post, i do use more than three brushes to apply my eye makeup but these were the ones i used most and had the best results with!
MAC 224 i have had this brush in my collection pretty much ever since i became a self obsessed makeup brat. it is absolutely perfect for blending eyeshadow and leaving you with a soft, smokey effect which i personally love. i have also used this to apply concealer and surprisingly it does the job quite well. the only problem is that this brush has the not-so-good reputation of shedding like a mo-fo so you have to be careful unless you like black bristles stuck to your face ;)
Real Techniques crease brush am i the only one that doesn't use brushes for there intended purpose? this is supposed to be a 'crease brush' but i use it to apply shadow to my lid and brow bone! it's perfect for quickly sweeping color all over your lid and applies evenly and doesn't compromise the shadows pigmentation once so ever.
MAC 210 i actually attribute my love for this brush to Victoria of In The Frow! i'm a big fan of her blog and now her YouTube videos and she uses this brush to apply shadow into the crease, which if you think about it, is pretty darn clever! since this is a pencil brush it is perfect for getting your shadow right in the crease and having it be precise. it also works wonders for applying shadow on your lower lash line and the corners of your eyes.
what have been your favorite eye brushes of 2012? xox
